The intervention focused on renovating the ancient core of Gallano, which included redeveloping the village's streets and squares by reconstructing the pavement and updating underground services. This project also involved constructing 37 small housing units, along with new hospitality and production facilities, such as a dining area, a conference room, recreational areas and sports amenities, including a swimming pool, fitness area, and tennis court. Given the village's state of total abandonment, a thorough study of the urbanisation works was required to enable the recovery and reuse of the town under satisfactory conditions. This approach ensured complete integration with the natural environment while preserving the anthropised ecosystem that had remained unchanged for decades.
