The project strategically revitalises Campo Bipiani in Ponticelli through participatory urban regeneration, converting a complex of temporary prefabricated structures into an Eco-neighbourhood featuring 104 near zero-energy public housing units. The masterplan is structured according to the traditional typology of the Neapolitan courtyard, updated with new stereometric volumes to create a contemporary living environment. These plans include a spacious public square featuring a tree-lined courtyard, areas for socialising, sports facilities, and urban gardens. The urban regeneration strategy places a central emphasis on the eco-park, aiming to enhance environmental quality and resilience to climate change, while promoting an ethos of living closely connected to nature and the rural landscape. A dual-purpose design was implemented internally, blending both functional and residential aspects. This approach integrates housing with services and hybridises various unit sizes to accommodate the diverse needs of the families currently residing in Campo Bipiani.
