The project focuses on the urban regeneration of the area originally occupied by the former tobacco factory, which comprises seven buildings arranged in the shape of an "H" around two open courtyards. These buildings, originally intended for processing locally grown tobacco, are now only partially utilised and functional. Specifically, the main structure (Building E), which overlooks Piazza Carl Marx, currently houses the technical sector offices of the Municipality, and will be preserved. Upon completion of the project, new spaces will be available for exhibitions, conference rooms, and multifunctional areas. Additionally, hospitality businesses established around the southeast courtyard will significantly enhance the area's attractiveness.   Structural consolidation is planned for Blocks A, C, and F, to make the currently unused upper floors usable. For Blocks B and D, only safety measures will be implemented, as requested by the client. Block E, while retaining its current use, will undergo necessary transformations to make the spaces functional and suitable for municipal office activities. This includes eliminating superfetations that have altered the original configuration over time and resizing the internal partitions that currently disrupt the original spatiality of the vaults.
