SAB was awarded the contracts for the technical and economic feasibility design, as well as the definitive and executive design services, concerning the recovery and conservation restoration of the walls, and the cultural repurposing of the Gorizia Castle. This initiative is part of the PNRR and Next Generation EU framework aimed at the cultural, social, and economic regeneration of villages at risk of abandonment. The project is focused on the revitalisation of archaeological and historical-artistic sites for collective reuse and local development, with the goal of increasing their tourist appeal, in alignment with the objectives of the Gorizia/Nova Gorica candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2025.
